New York Knicks trade a draft pick for a player with a lot of potential. It is unlikely I would have attained a player with such a high ceiling with that pick. Continue adding potential.

Cross-Court Dynasty: Invalid Transactions / Re: 76ers & Golden State (revised)« on: November 03, 2020, 06:26:24 PM »As stated above a precedent has been set regarding the value of older players that still ball at a high level in regards to draft picks. Though the high salary is a turnoff and there is injury risk, the reward is also quite great if Curry plays like he has in the past. Curry should at the least receive two 1sts or a good young player in return. My return of Miles Bridges for Julius Randle was another precedent besides the Klay Thompson deal and Derek Rose. The Curry trade for 2nd round picks and a late 1st round in what is a weak draft class amount to a salary dump, which would be understandable, though still lopsided. Throwing in the payment of salary makes this deal even more lopsided than it already was and in veto territory. An more even trade that would still be lopsided, but not vetoable would be adding another 1st round pick or cancelling the payment of salary. Dumping older vets with plenty of value only makes sense if you get something in return, cap space for the bounty of free agency, high draft picks, or a massive salary dump. This trade accomplishes none of those goals thus giving it a veto. PS - I don't take a veto lightly and have never vetoed a deal in my basketball dynasty league that I run that just finished it's 15th season this year. 1336

Billy, thank you for the clarification. I misread that. I would still like to extend Ball at $18M for 5 years.

The Knicks would like to extend Lonzo Ball for 5 years $8.4M (2026).
He is an RFA, ranks of 211 and 63 = $7m x 1.2 = $8.4M. 1338

In the rules on the forum it specifies 6 bench roster spots. In Fantrax it says I have 12 bench roster spots.

Knicks unload some of Bullocks salary, gain a roster spot for another younger player to advance the rebuild and gain a draft pick, which we expect will be an early 2nd round pick.
