While I really like Lonzo Ball I decided to flip him for two players I believe will have top 50 potential for the next several years in Caris LeVert and Jarrett Allen  . LeVert has shown signs of growth even though he is often injured. A good healthy season for him, which certainly isn't a given, could put him in the top 50 range or higher of fantasy basketball players. Jarrett Allen  has loads of potential and has been a great player (#82 through the COVID-19 pandemic break in roughly 26 minutes per game). I am also quite high on Nicolas Claxton as well, who is quite young (21 years old), but has the potential to become a very good player.

Also, hopefully all three get shipped off to the Rockets in a deal for James Harden, giving Jarrett Allen  a larger piece of the offense and more minutes and providing Caris LeVert a new start and opportunity to be the star offensive playmaker.

I am looking for young players with upside to complement my core of Mitchell Robinson, Jarrett Allen, Miles Bridges, Kevin Huerter, Kevin Knox, etc. I have plenty of cap space and am willing to take on a bad contract if I need to in order to obtain a young player with upside or draft picks. Anyone is available for the right price.

I am certainly curious about the answer to the question above, although I believe the answer is probably that you are paying extra for the privilege of locking down a player and extending vs. allowing him to potentially be signed by another team at a price you are unwilling to pay.

In regards to the minor/G-League, the rules state, "Any player who has played in 60 or more games will not be eligible for the G-league. Once a player reaches 60 he will either be called up or released." What is the time period for calling up or releasing a player? Does it need to be done before game 60 or is there a certain time period after 60 games to make a decision?

Confirmed. Pinson is a known commodity. I get a high risk high reward player for someone I am confident won't be more than a role player.
