Hello Wiz, I do appreciate your concern of the 76ers in a couple years, but I assure you that I've been looking toward the future as well. I've been on this Forum for about 6yrs and have gone the route of drafting and grooming players just to see the league fold on the cusp of winning it. I hope its not the case with this league as we have a lot of young developing teams that should make BoD fun for the next few years.

I'm not going to stand in the way of people controlling their teams how they see fit, but your response ignores all of the valid and impending concerns for your team while asking me to trust in your future. I do not, and fully expect this to blow up in your face. If you want me to go into complete detail as to how this butchers you, then we can easily do so via pm... or not! Either way

 

I just want to point out that this trade will absolutely annihilate 76ers after the 2020 season. One of Collins, AD, Embiid, or Steph will not be financially retainable which forces them into a trade... but why would someone give up assets for players that may just hit the FA pool anyways? I would personally prefer Mitch to Collins (for that extra year mostly) in a straight vaccuum, but 76ers is also giving up far more in two other 1st round value players. The argument I see in favor is that the strongest 4-player squad in the league might reside in Philadelphia for 2 seasons (see other team in this trade). I don't like it; I'm leaning towards  but 76ers can make their case.
