The Baltimore Orioles trade

MI Weeks, Jemile, $0.5m (P-n/a)
C Norris, Derek, $0.5m (P-n/a)

to the Milwaukee Brewers for

MI Cabrera, Asdrubal, $0.5m (P-2011)

Baltimore does this trade to acquire a quality young MI. Weeks is playing fairly well in the majors leagues to this point while norris is having an up and down year in the minors. I have depth at the catcher position with Romine and Sanchez still on the team so I can afford to give up Norris. This gives me a quality young MI that I can lock up for the next 5 years.

Brewers to confirm.

The Avalanche Trade

2nd Rounder 22nd Pick

The Blues do this trade to get Steven Stamkos and the second pick in the draft which should net another very good player. It was hard giving up Halak and Stewart along with the 1st round picks but I feel I came out pretty good . Avalanche to confirm.
