Calgary will sign Nick Ellis to a new contract because if he makes 1 appearance (likely with Talbot hitting the IR), he'll earn himself a $5 million extension.
Nick Ellis, $0.2m (2016-2018) will be extended at the league minimum for goaltenders at $1.0m (2017-2019).
