the yankees have been working on resigning howie since we traded for him, we have finally come to the terms,
the deal is
32 mil in total and is 8 mil per year for 4 years
he is the #11 MI at this moment and was #17 last year
the yankees are happy to have him locked up

i think it would be a good/interesting/helpful idea to compile some kind of list of potential free agents or expect free agents for the offseason i think it wouldnt take too long and i would even do it if needed. i think it could help with trade and everything say u have an offer that frees up cap in the next year or two if u see that there could be one of two studs it could make it worth it. almost like the NBA teams freeing up space a year or two in advance to have a run at big time players..
any thoughts?

the yanks are happy to do this deal to get younger and get rid of Papi who is prolly the only guy in baseball that i really hate lol.
butler is obviously more expensive in the future but at least he will be playing.

I just realized that i am really THE EVIL EMPIRE in this league i have now had 3 trades vetoed and havent seen another one get vetoed since i got here lol! thanks for the motivation guys this will make it much sweeter when i take it all!!! good luck to you all
