Oklahoma City Thunder for pick #10 in the 2nd round of the 2021 NBA Draft and Oklahoma City Thunder's 2nd round pick in 2022.

We make this deal because we have a player we are interested in the 2nd round of this draft, which we think is exceptionally deep.

New York Knicks re-sign Doug McDermott (rank #212 in 19-20, rank #162 in 20-21) to a $5.5m per year contract for 4 years.

New York Knicks then trades the newly re-signed Doug McDermott $5.5M (2025)

to the

Los Angeles Clippers for the 7th pick in the 2nd round of the 2021 NBA Draft.

The below trade has an issue. Utah traded a pick they did not own. On the draft pick trade tracker post it shows Miami receiving Utah's 2nd round pick in 2023. I traded for Utah's 2nd round pick last year though (also reflected on the draft pick trade tracker post). I think maybe the pick that was supposed to be conveyed in the below trade is the LA Clippers 2nd round pick in 2023, which the draft pick trade tracker says Utah has in 2023, although that isn't specified at all below.

Nicolas Claxton (#409 in 19-20, #315 in 20-21) - extend at $3M per year for 3 years ($2.5M x 1.2 for RFA).
Terance Mann (#410 in 19-20, #213 in 20-21) - extend at $4M per year for 3 years.

Also, Jalen Lecque, Justinian Jessup, Ty-Shon Alexander, and Alen Smailagic need removed from my roster on the spreadsheet. They were all released in a previous transaction, which was processed in Fantrax, but they never were removed from my G-League in the spreadsheet.

New York Knicks trade the 9th pick in the 2nd round of the 2021 NBA Draft to

New Orleans Pelicans for their 2nd round pick in 2023.

New York Knicks makes this trade as we have a full roster, including G-League, and are hoping to essentially roll the pick forward to another year. Plus now we have 0 picks in 2021 and don't have to do any rookie research.
