Blue Jays trade:
OF Maxwell, Justin, $2.5m (2013)
Giants are getting a productive, low cost OF in Justin Maxwell who has landed in a situation where he has an opportunity to be an everyday player. Shane Robinson has some upside, but has not as productive as the OF the Giants are receiving. Cole Leonida is a prospect in the Nationals organization who is currently in Class A+ but has not exhibited much hitting prowess thus far. He may blossom later, but I already have other C prospects on my roster whom I can wait on. I ask the Trade Council to approve this trade.

Giants trade: SP Conley, Adam, $0.5m (P-n/a) (Marlins) Pirates trade: RP Rogers, Esmil, $0.5m (2014) Giants trade P Adam Conley, an EDR in the Marlins organization for P Esmil Rogers, a P who has had some success as a starter, although he has fallen on hard times in recent weeks.
