New York Knicks trade:
Christian Wood $15.2m (2025) (New York Knicks pay $4M in 2024 and 2025)
Sacramento Kings 2nd Round Pick in 2022

Orlando Magic trade:
Jalen Suggs $5m (2025) RFA

New York Knicks make this trade to get a little younger, decrease our logjam (Wood pun intended) of bigs, and decrease future salary cap for other potential moves. We hate to see Wood go, but this allows Sengun and Robinson to get into the starting lineup a bit more. We also think Suggs has a lot of potential even if it will take a few years.
