To Washington
C - Sam Steel (2016: 1/30 - 0 Games)

I move one steal for another. Sad to see my potential combo of Petersson and Boeser last only 30 minutes, but a new combo is born: Steel and Jones. I get the best name in hockey + a mid 2nd.

Vancouver accept the trade, as the offer was on for the 16th pick, when i saw a certain player hadn't be picked, left it to late only for Jonathan to pick him and he accept the trade for Pettersson.
I giving away Steel who only just traded for month ago plus 48th pick, but the chance to grab Pettersson was just to good. I get a player who is the Canucks 1st Line Centre in the long term and Henrik's heir.
Plus can Franchise Tag him forever, and this one is staying an Canuck for life.

Elias Pettersson was drafted by Washington Capitals and will only get the Franchise Player tag if he continues to stay with the NHL Vancouver Canucks.

Approve. This trade makes sense! Good luck to both teams

PPG can't see the Canucks ever letting him go in real life not when he been semi announced as Henrik apparent heir. Plus they have his linemate Dahlen and Swedes due tend to love Vancouver and the Canucks best players seem to have been mainly Swedish players
