'17 ABO: Antti Niemi, $6.3m (2016-2020) ABO = $2.6 '20 (We would rather give Whoopi Goldberg some head than to keep him at $6.3m)

Don't take it personal. I personally knew the asking price of Hedman as little as a month ago, and consider this much less. Hedman is top 5 D in this setup.
I hope so!!! I wasn't upset bro, you approved said I won the trade big time. I'm like hell yeah!!! I was curious what the weighted value of draft picks was in your opinion. You have respected spec knowledge in this league. I've now traded 8 picks + players to get my two franchise guys. No picks, but to me it was worth it even though the Stamkos trade was easily a huge win for Philly this year. I hope I kill Brian in this trade He has gotten me in the past on some others

Tampa win this one, easily.
I actually thought you would say that about Minny. One reason I trade my picks each year is the value is tough to judge. I'm not sure how this league values them, there are people who get on to me about my lack of draft participation and minor league residents. I think Victor has about 30 points more than Martinez, I'm gonna check that, but does that > 4 draft picks even if it were 50 points? Actual to date count Hedman 127.05 @ $6.3 '19 Martinez 97.8 @ $6.7 '20 Hedman is clearly better, but is it clearly an entire draft class (4 players futures) better? If so, and it's that black and white, then I've been right in my mind all along about amateur fantasy draft classes.

Those 2018 picks are avail after the 2017 FNHL Draft.
Whenever eligible PR. Maybe my post date is wrong and I'm posting this 9 months too soon. I'm excited to move on from this past season (past for us)

Like many of you i watch a lot of hockey, my fiance would say an absurd amount. With in an hour of my house i have 3 AHL teams, 1 USHL, and 1 NAHL team. The last two i have been to often in the last 2 years. I take notes, I've been asked who I'm a scout for. I get odd looks when i explain the FNHL deal. Any way i was curious if you all go on analytics or the old school eye test. My self I'm old school, I've been off on some playere but spot on with others. I get analytics in baseball but not in this great game.
I use my eyes for sure, after that my stupidity usually takes over. I like analytics and nerd analysis more for baseball because a hitter is relying on no one but himself at the plate. Hockey players must be paired up right and depend on others to make plays and create chances. So eyes for me.

Tampa sends: Alec Martinez, $6.7m (2016-2020) 2018 draft picks 1, 2, 3, 4
Minny sends: Victor Hedman, $6.3m (2015-2019)
Tampa will look to use its 2nd franchise tag on Hedman which to us is worth the picks.
With our luck, Hedman will be traded or executed by beheading before the trade is finalized but a deals a deal.
Indiansnation to confirm

And then a bunch of teams have no starter or no active NHL goalie on their roster. "Been there. Done that" debate gents.
The expansion draft rules were almost too straight fwd and simple from the get go.
Reducing the number of picks might be a good idea. Reduce by 3, 4, 5. Let's see after PR confirms.
With all do respect, just because you made a call, doesn't mean it was the right call. Fortunately there is time to tweak a few things in the interests of fairness. One thing Vegas would like to see is the exempt list gone. That list does us absolutely no good, the only list that would help the draft process run smoother is the "exposure list". Who is exempt, does nothing. I've made a few suggestions in the past, some have helped the league, some were dismissed, it's all good either way. Love the league and will continue trying to suggest ways to improve it.

No such dreams in only thoughts of what might have been if the season had played out differently. Looking for bigger and better things next season.
