Norrya seems to be MIA. Hasnt been on ProFSL in months and has not checked in to Fantrax.

I am actively looking for a new GM to take over the team if someone has a recommendation or knows anyone please have them get in touch.

For the 19/20 season use 30k as your denominator. This is due to the shortened season skewing the numbers.

Dynasty NHL: Archive / Draft Lottery for the top 8 teams that didnt complete playoffs?

Typically our draft order has always been determined by standings and order eliminated in the playoffs. Well this year we didn't get to complete the playoffs for the top 8 teams.

I weighed a few different options including just using regular season stands. I think below maybe the best way to move forward as I also dont want to penalize teams simply because they had a good regular season, there is no guarantee they would have finished first.

Edit- Due to precedent I am fine with keeping it to regular season standings as the order setting criteria if any of the 8 teams object to it.

We do a draft lottery , weighted based on teams regular season standings so 8th would have more chances of winning than 1st. My tool of choice is https://100yardrush.com/ It's football themed but it gets the job done and I get a link that allows a replay of the results that can be shared. I could even setup a live one through zoom if interested.

Regrettably Izaman3 has been MIA for over 6 months on the site and its time to get a new owner for Detroit. If Ian ever re-surfaces again he would be welcomed back in the league in a second.

That said, we have a new GM in Cloud91. He is a veteran in ProFSL on a few leagues and I am sure will make a great owner here in DNHL.

I see no reason not to re-open trading season. This will give teams a chance make some moves on expiring contracts.

Edit: I was given a reason. Pausing this while I get together all the important dates and timelines of things that need to be done.

Dynasty NHL: Archive / 20/21 season is up

I renewed the league for the 20/21 season on fantrax.
I have enabled the draft and minor league enforcement rules to make it easier to research and find available players for the draft. Under player, use Minor League Fantasy Minors available .

Just getting up to speed on a few things as I have been away for a year.

if anyone has a "to do list" or what the priorities are let me know so I know where to focus first.

Thought you guys might like this. For my league that I run on fantrax this year we decided to do a lottery style draft since we werent able to complete our season.

I found this site to use as a way to set the draft order. Me and all the guys jumped on a Zoom meeting and I set my screen to share so we could all watch and cheer in real time.

It gives you a link at the end to be able to share the results with any that werent on for the live version.

Note, that we did two one for bottom 8 and one for top 8 teams.
