We're not in love with St.Louis either but we have other plans for the guy. He's 39 and not even on the back 9 of his career, more like waiting things out in the clubhouse. Haha  I like the fact his contract is expiring next yr given his age.

Schenn is a lot younger than St. Louis but not as productive. Very similar cap hits. Both draft picks are late rounders. I would say this is rather even for different reasons.

Marty was the 9th ranked RW + Luke was the 9th ranked D in 2012-13. Schenn is 15yrs younger than Martin. I'll give the win to here. Bolts have easily + quickly rebuilt their D in 2 trades.
