I may regret this but I have some nice MI prospects, Mercer is on a roll and (hoping) Guerrero gets called up in a week or so.
Caratini and McMahon are Scouting Book Top 20 at their positions which are positions of need in my system.

This one is real close for me.  I think some better specs could have been had for Hanley.  But being that he is a DL machine and is always hurt I will approve.

I think Hanley is worth more than the prospects he's being traded for, but, as papps noted, his constant visits to the DL hurt his value.  I've looked at this trade over and over, weighing both sides, and although I don't necessarily agree with it, it's not something I can veto.

I agree that there needs to be better players for Hanley even though he is on DL a lot,he is a way better player and deserves better players given.

Just so I have this straight.
I keep Hanram @$10m/yr and hope to get 100 games from him OR
Release him and , at best, get a 1st round pick next year.
That's better than 2 Top 20 prospects and a former 2nd round draft choice?
