Trades
Any two or more teams may trade players between the end of the World Series and July 31st. When an agreement is made, the proposed trade must be posted under the Transactions board, with all parties involved posting a reply stating that said trade has been accepted. A detailed explanation of the reasoning behind the trade for each team involved also needs to accompany each post.
Any MLB free agent signed in the offseason may not be traded before June 1st of the following season.
Picks from the Amateur Draft may be traded however picks must be traded with at least 72 hours notice prior to that draft choice position being on the clock. This window should allow enough time to approve or veto trades of draft choices. Teams can only trade draft picks in up to two future drafts and teams cannot trade first round picks in three consecutive drafts.
Cap money can be included in trades however the money cannot exceed the amount in salaries per season for players being traded from your team. Any cap money acquired in a player trade must be dispersed to cover the player salaries acquired. Any money acquired to offset salary in a trade must travel with the player if he's traded again.
Draft picks cannot be bought with cap money.

All players involved must be named at the time of the trade announcement. Players may NOT be named later.
Note
Players are not allowed to be named later, unlike MLB, in order to prevent potential issues regarding what type of player was agreed upon for the PTBNL.
The trade will be disallowed if it puts any of the teams above the salary cap, or over the roster limit, unless there is an accompanying transaction that will correct this. The trade must explicitly state the accompanying transaction in order for the trade to be valid. All trades that are legal will be reviewed by the League for integrity. There is a 48-hour period to review that will begin when the last trade party has posted his reasoning for the trade. The trade will not be recorded as official until all involved parties provide their agreement and reasoning for the trade.
Approvals and Vetoes
Trades will be reviewed by a 7 member trade committee. They must pass the trade committee with 4 approvals if less than 2 members of the committee are involved. Trades must receive a majority approval if 2 members are involved in the trade. Trades can be vetoed with 2 votes. Two vetoes overrides 4 approvals. If four approvals are not received, but the trade has fewer than two vetoes within 72 hours, the trade can be approved by the commissioner.
Any veto must provide a detailed, factually based basis for that veto. Reasons for a veto would include but are not limited to factors such as statistical comparison, contract status, age, injury history, talent level, organizational makeup, past trade history, and/or collusion.
Trade Restrictions for New Owners
1) New ownership without previous ProFSL league experience will be restricted from conducting transactions for 72 hours upon admission to the league.
2) Any new owner that has a trade vetoed within the first 30 days of ownership will be required to post players on the trade block for a period of 48 hours before any trade can be posted.
