Updated Trade Block
The New York Rangers
are still looking to make some moves
The following players are still available on the trade block:
C/RW Ryan Strome
, $4.5m (2021-2022)
C/RW/LW Brett Howden
, $0.9m (2020-2021) [RFA]
RW Pavel Buchnevich
, $3.3m (2020-2021) [RFA]
RW Jesper Fast
, $0.9m (2021-2022)
LW/RW/D, Brendan Smith
, $4.4m (2020-2021)
D Tony DeAngelo,
$4.8M (2021-2022)
G Henrik Lundqvist
, $8.5m (2020-2021)
Some of these players I am not super keen on trading, but everyone is available at the right price, and im always willing to listen and make moves.
I am willing to retain salary for certain players if the deal is right for it.
I am mostly looking for young players, rookies, and future draft picks.
Message me if you are interested. I am sorry in advance if I don’t get back to you right away. I am new to ProFSL and still getting used to the features of the site (especially without a mobile app available)

Got a couple key guys left for those of you going for the year 1 title:
RW Dustin Brown, $5.9m (2021-2022)
Wrong side of the age bracket but still brings it in the SOG and HIT department and sprinkles in some G,A and PPP riding shot-gum with Anze Kopitar
G Jonathan Quick, $5.8m (2022-2023)
Also wrong side of age bracket but still a dependable goaltender and was on a hot streak before the covid pause. Given contract LA is still trotting him out there and he'll get you alot of saves on that LA team with some decent peripherals. Plus most of you only will have one goaltender and the backup on same team and we start two so a solid 2nd guy to have to bang in the stats for ya
Will help pay on them if need be
Same as NY we are looking for young players, rookies and future draft picks (2022 included once this draft concludes)

Pretty content with team, but open to ideas where I clear 1.3m or more in cap before next pick.
These are guys I'd consider moving now:
C Nazem Kadri, $4.5m (2021-2022)
-already 2.2m paid this year
D Erik Gudbranson, $4.0m (2020-2021)
-already 2m paid this year
C/RW Evan Rodrigues, $0.7m (2020-2021)
LW Kyle Clifford, $0.9m (2021-22)
D Travis Dermott, $0.9m (2020-2021) [RFA]

Recently acquired but will be recently traded again I hope; Looking to get a younger goalie maybe who isn't quite a starter in the league just yet
RW Dustin Brown, $5.9m (2021-2022)
Wrong side of the age bracket but still brings it in the SOG and HIT department and sprinkles in some G,A and PPP riding shot-gum with Anze Kopitar
Will help pay on them if need be

Looking to move
C/LW/RW Colton Sceviour, $1.2m (2020-2021)
C/LW/RW Zach Aston-Reese, $1.0m (2020-2021)
Your average skater score is 37.7 in our league. Last year Sceviour was at 44 and Aston-Reese 36. So they are league average players with cheap contracts. They both play all 3 forward positions.
Looking for picks or prospects.

Take two to tango, though. Most owners with adequate or surplus SP aren't interested in prospects as they're trying to win now.

Also agreed. Top quality pitching probably means not much depth. A few injuries can challenge you. Pitching other than top end pitching has been devalued in fantasy. Everyone wants the stud.

I here to tell you that ALL major league pitching is good pitching. A great hitter beats a terrible pitcher just 3 out of 10 times. Which means the worst pitchers > the greatest hitters.

Greg Maddux had the best outlook. He viewed himself as tye dealer/house and you had to beat him. Just like in the casino, the house nearly always wins.

He had that view b/c of his father who was a blackjack dealer in Vegas.

Yes @Brent!! That is it exactly. Pitching is the house & it always wins in the end.

There shouldn't be many innings available in FA in dynasty fantasy leagues IMO. Thats guaranteed money! To hell with High A ball.

The problem with the minors is not the system as a whole, it is some Farm Systems are more 'elite' at being able to produce talent than others. If you look across MLB teams you can pretty easily tell the great systems from the weaker systems and talent development

With regard to pitching in the Minors...there is method to the madness. It is all about what you make of it tho. I agree that it can seem certain type arms in the minors are a dime a dozen

Mr Braves you are my guy. There isnt anything wrong with minor league studs or flops. I get it in REAL baseball.

This is fantasy baseball. We dont generate revenue selling prospects and merchandising. Our top farms dont get a write up in Sports Illustrated.
