Franchise NHL: Completed Transactions / Re: Lightning Transactions« on: September 30, 2014, 05:36:46 AM »Still on hold until Monday Sept 29thPlease process all these moves. I want to build my own farm from the ground up. I pretty much want to completely rebuild the franchise with all of my own players. This is part of a long term process & vision. Thanks 5713

I had a few friends reach out, who understand I may not be the most liked GM, but appreciate my honesty, I keep it real & raw, too raw for some. Thank you friends.
To clarify, this league punishes those above the cap threshold..avoiding going over the cap this year, while fielding the best 2014/15 was the main objective, dealing from a position of strength (Goalie) to open up the ability to strengthen other areas was paramount. Having built such a young team, next years draft has less value to FNHL , trading a 3rd string Goalie with a $3.4m tag & $5m resign value allowing for a more diverse and deep roster this season is worth a late 1st imo. Hearing everyones opinons, agree or disagree, I appreciated the approvals of those who thought I took a beating on this deal, but allowed me to do me. It means alot to some of us to have the freedom to GM even if we appear to lose on a deal. That's the beauty of fantasy. Im willing to side bet that Upshaw, as much as he sucks will out point Poulin this season..but even if he didnt I cant play 3 Goalies. No matter! Thanks Ripper for the talks bud, & good luck. 5716

Franchise NHL: Completed Transactions / Re: Lightning & Blues Trade« on: September 21, 2014, 09:32:46 PM »I guess the problem is that you all see Poulin as an asset? I looked at him as $3.4M in dead cap. He is not a back up with Halak and then Johnson in the net.Fuk that, i will take it even a step further..There are 2 reasons to veto a deal, #1 Collusion #2 A Franchise killer,& this is neither! You pompus arrogant azz computer jockey's make me puke. Some people value draft picks higher than others..ME? I WIPE MY ASS WITH THEM. I join $$ leagues to have a fair shot to run my team as I see fit. I WORK HARD FOR MY $$, and thus when I play with my $$ what gives any of you the right to dictate my joy? Say my trade sucks, say I lose the deal, say that you wouldnt do it...thats fine. BUT VETO because you feel you missed your calling as an NHL GM? You can kiss my ENTIRE ASS! Maybe Im a bit sensative at the moment, but this pisses me off. I have NEVER quit a league, win, lose or draw, I see my teams thru. Not every trade is a good one, how many trades have passed in fantasy or real life that in hindsight were Fukd up? I pay my $$ to gamble on myself against others, I dont quit & I dont cheat, and for those of you who want to offer advice as to "what I should do" or who criticize "what I have done"..FUK OFF! You just nullified my roster moves and jeapordized my entire season because you think I overpaid. Well just who da fuk are you? REALLY? If you wanted to run you should have paid for I was asked to join this league & did so honorably thinking Im competing with honorable men. I PAID MY $$$ TO RUN MY OWN FUKN TEAM. Not to have a handful of you run it for me. This deal is fine as is, its you who are jacked. my dick! 5718

Franchise NHL: Completed Transactions / Lightning & Blues Trade« on: September 20, 2014, 02:52:18 PM »
sends:
G Kevin Poulin $3.4m (2012-2015) D Frank Corrado $0.6m (2014-2016) 1st rd pick sends: RW Scottie Upshaw $0.4m (2013-2015) 3rd rd pick (2015) Tampa does this deal to gain $3.6m in cap and a serviceable RW in Upshall who is a proven commodity at a thin position. It was tough to move my 1st rd pick, but I am betting that it will not be a premium pick as we hope that Lightning strikes the playoffs..the 3rd rounder in return also helps to cushion the blow. Upshaw is on a sweet deal, & provides us the kind of depth, scoring we needed to help us compete for almost no $$$, allowing us to call up some excellent forwards as well. It was a mistake grabbing Poulin & Corrado in hindsight due to subsequent trades & this deal opens up the cap & roster spots needed to correct those mistakes while also providing a decent RW. Thanks Ripper for the pro talks & good luck in the Loo. Blues to confirm 5720
