Franchise NHL: Completed Transactions / OTT BO

Ottawa will put out an oft injured D to pasture.

Jared Cowen, $0.3m (2016-2018)

Cowen's BO cap hit will be handled all this year and cost us $0.3m (2016-17). His release will make room for newly signed FA Gab Dumont. Bring on the little speedster.

Was hoping to make a deal to move out some new players that were added during the previous administration. Zacha ain't my kind of player so I'm glad to move him with 2.5m due shortly on a Entry level deal. Best place to deal him is to the GM that traded for him once already. Hossa was not in our plans longterm plans.

Traded to KINGS
Marian Hossa, $5.3m (2010-2018)
C - Pavel Zacha (2015: 1/6 - 33 Games)  GP updated Jan3, 2017
Dylan DeMelo, $0.3m (2015-2017)

Traded to SENS
Elias Lindholm, $2.8m (2016-2019)
C - Ryan Kujawinski (2013: 3/73 - 0 Games)
D - Kyle Capobianco (2015: 3/63 - 0 Games)
Nick Shore, $0.4m (2015-2018-EL)
Marc-Edouard Vlasic, $2.6m (2015-2018)
Jared Cowen, $0.3m (2016-2018)
Round 2 - 2017

Let's keep it going boys. Good doing business with you Champ!

Not sure if I need to do anything else but there it is!

Here we go again. Took a little long this time but we reached another agreement to deal players.

Traded to SABRES
Cam Ward, $6.2m (2015-2019) 32yo
C - Tyson Jost (2016: 1/10 - 0 Games)

Traded to SENS
Ryan Miller, $5.5m (2013-2017) 36yo +$7m extension due
G - Chris Driedger (2012: 3/76 - 1 Games)  GP updated Apr12, 2015
Clayton Stoner, $2.1m (2015-2018)
Matthew Nieto, $0.2m (2016-2018)
Round 4 - 2017

This deal brings in a temp vet goalie in Millertime and a young Sens goalie of the future in Driedger. all else is filler. Thanks Burkes Boys!

  • Daddy: Youve seen them? We havent completely structured all that yet. Weve got expansion and other factors that the real Wolves dont face.
  • Daddy: My comment on the real Wolves are if they win a chip then there is no such things as bad contracts. The point of all contracts are to win Championships.

  • Daddy: Can you imagine a league(s).  Where EVERY player that becomes a professional has value.. and 30-32 teams have 30-32 different people are actively determining that value?
  • Daddy: Where you dont wait for trades to happen on scoring sites or SS updates and the only thing asked of you is to run your own franchise and see how good you are. On an EVEN playing field.
  • Daddy: Its already near impossible to get into NFL LIVE. We had to start up a 64 team league just to accommodate the waiting list. True Story.
  • Daddy: Once full. NBA, NHL, & NCAAs will be very difficult to get into. People dont just walk away from LIVE often and when they do... They usually want back in. Legit dont miss your team in your sports. Get them while you can.
