The Yanks get an MI that they need, A CI who does produce. Maybe not 27.5 mil worth but does produce none the less. The Yanks hate to move Halladay in the deal, but wanted to sure up the Offense. Good to do business with the new Cubs GM, who has already greatly improved that team. Amazing what a good owner can do in just 3 days.

The Cubs obtain some much needed salary relief in the long term, and continue to rebuild their pitching staff with the acquisition of the league's best pitcher. Been working hard with Corey on this one for the last few days, and its real nice to see the hard work pay off when two minds meet at a common ground- thanks for the kind words, I am trying.
