We all have responsibilities to all different facets of life and we all know that we are a part of FGM as an outlet of entertainment. But, with that, prolonged inactivity is something that cannot be a part of our league. All of us have seen GMs come and go for a variety of reasons, with some of our members returning to the helm of a different team.
Unfortunately, inactivity often means a team suffers from neglect and it makes it tough to recruit a new GM. However, there are some situations which require some creative thinking for the good of the league. The
fall into this category. The current GM, Curtis (curtmenefee47) was active during free agency, but when the season began, he simply disappeared. He did not log onto our ProFSL site, nor did he make any lineup changes on Fantrax, so an opportunity arose to reinstate the former, longtime
, Dennis M. (dennymcc23).
Dennis was away for awhile, and returned to FGM as the
GM. He took over the
in late June of the current season (replacing another inactive GM kungfuwig), and the team had no hope of making the playoffs. Since he was a replacement GM, with a vested interest in the
and no allegiance to his current team, his old team was offered to him and he accepted.
A replacement GM will be sought for the
, and until one is found, the team shall be under league proprietorship.
