makes this trade to get a young cost controlled bat. I’m hoping McMahon gets enough games at 1B to maintain CI, but he seems to have figured it out at the plate and the bat always seemed to be for real. I also get a solid young reliever and save some cap space sending Adams away. I may have overpaid a bit sending 2 top prospects, but my OF seems to be fairly solid and I can afford to deal from depth. Good luck to

Atlanta confirms, never easy to trade a player like McMahon but I’m banking on the Orioles giving both of these guys an opportunity to see at bats sooner than later. I absolutely love the upside of both Hays and Mountcastle. With cap space I was willing to take on the salary to get the better return. Thanks and good luck!
