RP Shackleford, Kevin, $0.5m (P-n/a)

Phillies trade
OF Williamson, Mac, $0.5m (P-2019)

Phillies do this deal as we need RP depth. We have Cozens that should make his MLB debut this year and will be a replacement for Williamson who would probably never make my starting lineup.

Kittredge and Shackleford can’t be traded until their 60 days are up from being signed as FAs. They should be good on March 25.

A trade based on nothing more than getting back a Giants player.  There will be other RPs available through free agency, particularly after the staffs are sorted out during Spring Training, so as the 60 day waiting period ends, the Giants will seek to replace Kitteridge and Shackleford.
