SP Young, Alex, $0.5m (P-n/a)
SP Buehler, Walker, $0.5m (P-n/a)
CI McBroom, Ryan, $0.5m (P-n/a)
CI Napoli, Mike, $7m (2017)

Twins trade:
SP Cobb, Alex, $6m (2018)
OF Gardner, Brett, $7.5m (2017)

Cubs accept. A pretty high price in young pitching, but Cubs have 3-4 very solid SP locked up for a few years still. If Cobb doesn't return to form, this is going to look pretty silly, but I'm willing to bet that he bounces back a bit this year. Gardner is another gamble depending where he ends up, but one I feel could be worth it. Pairing him with Puig and Beltran for my 3rd OF and/or Util spot will give me flexibility elsewhere in the lineup. Thanks for hte smooth negotiations. Twins to confirm when they can.

I accept. I gain some cap space and good prospects to rebuild my team. 34 year old Gardner won't help me. I hope Cobb comes back strong, but I didn't want to risk it. Thanks for the easy negotiations . If I can't win this year, I'm always rooting for the Cubs.
