Ducks/Blues Trade

St Louis Blues announce a trade with the Anaheim Ducks to bring in a solid second pair defenceman while removing extra fat from our roster to get much needed cap for future moves. Thanks to the Anaheim owner for his patience on this negotiation.

:STL-NHL: David Perron, $3.4m (2019-2022)
       Brady Keeper, $2.0m (2019-2022)
       Joe Hickets, $2.2m (2019-2022)
       Paul LaDue, $1.5m (2019-2022)
       SDP Round 1 - 2020 (pick no.21)
for
:ANA: Adam Pelech, $3.9m (2019-2022)
       RW - Ostap Safin (2017: 4/115 - 0 games)

:iatp: Seems the new Blues owner is cleaning house. Looking forward to seeing the finished product and how much cap St Louis will have for free agency.

:iatp: My feeling is Blues are getting the better side of this deal but that might just be now whereas it could work out nicely for the Ducks in a few months.
