The Nationals and Royals agree to the following:

Nationals receive:
OF Guillen, Jose, $12m (2010)
X-$7m paid in 2010
OF Torres, Andres, $0.5m (2010)
1-8 KC (from CHC From LAA)

Royals receive:
MI Espinosa, Danny, $0.5m (2011)
P Feliz, Neftali, $0.5m (P-n/a)
OF Maier, Mitch, $0.5m (2010)
3-10 WAS (from KC)
5-5 WAS

Analysis: I hope I know what I'm doing. To put it simply, I am a huge fan of Andres Torres, and he had a decent year in 2009 with only 150 AB's, so I'm hoping what he is doing on the field currently is legit, and he's a top 30 OF for awhile. He will be costly at the end of this year, but I will be looking for ways to either make room for him or move around it. I gamble on giving away Feliz, who might be a very good starter in the future (for my sake, I hope not).

I now also have two top 10 overall picks in the draft, so I will feel a bit more comfortable if Torres and Guillen do not pan out.

I confirm...i get a top prospect and I am able to get some cash in the deal for my early draft pick. Even if Feliz doesnt end up as a SP I am still happy to take him as a successful closer. Also espinosa makes my MI depth larger in my farm hoping to have one of them pan out for me between Giavotella, Gibson, De Jesus, and the list goes on and on. Nice trade talks with you Jake.
