Update: Preparing for Free Agency, Team Pgs, etc. (Aug4-12)

note to all,

UPDATE... as i'm manually pluggin' away at rosters, there is a chance not all team pgs will be 100% updated before the start of Free Agency tomorrow Aug.4'12 @ 0h01. just setting expectation here.

HOW TO... to determine free agents, see the list of released, bought out players on the transaction pg.

you should also all be familiar with the targeted search function (we've been using it since last season).

OBJECTIVE... is to have Fantrax rosters uploaded by the start of the season in the fall (definitely sooner if possible) as SizzRat and I recently took over mid-July organizing and i'm doing a clean-up of rosters, recruiting new committed owners/GMs, and organizing the draft.

i'm also leaning towards reusing Fantrax for all 30 teams, as i've tested the ProFSL scoring system and believe it might not be the best transition for a 30-team league.

any questions, comments, suggestions, post 'em as always...

First off I would like to state, please don't start free agency before everything is updated and set in place. The transaction hub isn't looking very good and with a mass of transactions to be added during free agency would make a huge mess.

Secondly, please get your EC on fantrax or something uploading rosters so we can use that to determine free agents. This should be priority number one as free agent bidding without it is horrible. I would even help load a couple rosters as well if needed as it doesn't take long once you get use to it.

thx for your help drew in uploading a 2/3 of the rosters onto fantrax.
i've completed the remaining 1/3 rosters and therefore we can use fantrax to determine Free Agents.

again, there's a starter list of FA by team on the main transactions pg.

finally, the remaining team pg updates will be completed today.
