Brewers/Blue Jays Trade

[NippyJones]

Brewers Trade:

SP/RP Grant Holmes ($0.75M Arb 2)
SP Mason Black (Prospect)
RP Eric Reyzelman (Prospect)
CF Emmanuel Bonilla (Prospect)

Blue Jays Trade

SS Willy Adames ($12.3M thru 2025)
CF/RF Drew Avans ($0.75M Arb 2)

The Brewers are in need of an everyday SS and Adames fills the need for the 2025 season and maybe beyond. Trading SP Holmes was tough because he has a bright future but my needs at SS necessitated the deal. You got to give up some value in order to get some value.

Jays accept - We have some players we can shuffle in the lineup at SS and we pickup another starter in Holmes and a pitching prospect we feel could be in the rotation later this season. Adding a wildcard in Bonilla as well.
