Trade: Cubs/Dodgers
« on: March 09, 2025, 10:29:18 PM »
Dodgers needed to find a longer term solution at SS that IFK.  Swanson locks up SS for the next few years.  Cubs to confirm.

Dodgers trade:
2025 2nd
2026 2nd and 3rd.

For

Cubs trade:
SS Dansby Swanson, $25.29(2029)

Cubs confirm. Getting Trea Turner opened up the flexibility to move Swanson to help our farm system by acquiring picks.

Best of luck to LAD!

Approved and Fantraxed.  Note that the draft picks are captured on Fantrax as 2026 for our next draft during the offseason between the 2025 and 2026 seasons, and so on.  So I've Fantraxed this as involving 2026 and 2027 drafts.
