This wasn't a easy trade for me but a smart one. Being a expansion team I need to build my minors from bottom up and this trade does it. With this trade I'll be able to add some great prospects to my team in 2026. With this trade I will know have 15 draft picks in 2026. Each round I'll have 3 draft picks which will give me 15 prospects to my team. And I'm also getting 4 prospects in this trade that will also help me build my minors up a lot more quickly.

The Twins confirm the trade as I am need of another big slugger and I am counting on Trout having big bounce back year. I gave up prospects and future draft picks but I am in a win now mode.
