NHL Hockey's BACK BABY!

[Wundermaan]

The Mets and their disproportionate fan cardboard cutout heads scattered through the stands is a sad example of a league that has questionable judgement and operates with a eye on financial gain rather than a genuine fan experience. I swore off baseball after the sign stealing fiasco.

I swore off baseball ages ago. Better off watching little league if you really want to watch the game in its purest form. But that's just me.

The players are definitely showing lots of rust. It'll take a solid 2 weeks to get their timing up to  speed.

The countdown is on for the puck to drop on the NHL playoffs. Woooohooo!
Amazing to be watching hockey in July!

[Mordecai]

Games have been amazing to watch over the last 3 days.
Stalock was incredible for the Wild while posting a goose egg.
Habs Jeff Petry had a memorable winner in OT against the Pens.
Flyers were dominant vs the Canes.

[Rock On]

Can't believe the Leafs got their a$$ handed to them. So much talent. So little heart. Matthews. Marner. Nylander. Taveras. Rielly. Andersen.

They had the best offence since Keefe took over. Sad state of affairs in Toronto.

The silver lining is Toronto could end up getting Alexis Lafreniere.

8 periods of hockey in Gm1 between :CLS: v :TBL: Incredible!

Thought we might get the same with "BOS-NHL: v :CAR-NHL: today.
Feels great to watch hockey in August.

4 weeks into the NHL Bubble experience and zero positive cases. Amazing.

Great work by the league.

:iatp: Couldn't agree more. Impressive organization and planning by the NHL.

Good to see the NHLPA face the NHL to do the right thing with the boycott/postponement.

I do see how NHLers are less impacted by the state of the Blake shooting given how removed they are from the states. I mean the NHL is in Toronto AND EDMONTON. You can't get further north without seeing Polar Bears. 24hrs slow to react is reasonable but I understand why the NHL players didn't react as quickly as MLS, MLB and NBA who are all living in Trump-land.
