News Flash: Yeagg alert - Free Agency is Closed

[Flash]

Just a reminder:

8/18/2019 - Free Agency Ends at 11:59 PM EST (no more opening of bids)

8/19/2019 - Playoffs Begin - Wild Card Match-ups

As the regular season of play comes to and end, and we begin the playoffs, it is also a time for all teams to begin making decisions regarding extensions for all players in the last year of their contracts.  This includes all (2019) players and (P-2019) prospects.

It is also worth noting that our Pitching Limits Referendum (70 IP without any SP limitations) has passed overwhelmingly (22-1) and will take effect beginning with the 2020 season.

For all, our league will continue to be successful with the participation of all.  We have recently had to replace a GM for lack of activity, which is unfortunate, but a necessary component of any viable fantasy league.  I believe we have added a more than capable replacement GM, and hopefully, we now have 30 GMs who will propel us into a competitive 2020 season. We have been able to remain relevant because of your commitment and activity, and hopefully all of you will continue to stay active and prepare for the upcoming First Year Player Draft (FYPD) beginning November 1st.

For those in the playoffs, may the injury bug stay away and good fortune come to pass.

Thanks for being an amicable cast of competitors!
