Phillies and Boston Trade 1/31/19 2:00 pm ET

Phillies trade:
SP Wacha, Michael, $4m (2021)
MI Crawford, J.P., $0.5m (P-2021)
OF Mazara, Nomar, $0.5m (P-2019)
SP Sanchez,Sixto, $0.5m (P-n/a)
MI Martin, Richie, $0.5m (P-n/a)

Boston Trades:
MI Lindor, Francisco, $4m (2022)

Boston hates to deal our best player but need to improve roster to compete. Mazara main piece to help offset and help us to not overspend in FA to get 3 starting OF and get Martin or Crawford to hopefully fill Lindors shoes. Will post drops needed if trade passes with no issues.

Phillies agree. We think Bregman will lose MI eligibility so I wanted Lindor to slide in next to Seager. I gave up lots of depth and it kills me to deal Sixto but the return was worth it.
