Coming to Buffalo $9.4m in salary
Antti Niemi, $8.6m (2017-2022)
Jared Cowen, $0.8m (2017-2019)

Going to Montreal $9.2m in salary
Zach Bogosian, $4.2m (2016-2019)
Dennis Wideman, $2.1m (2017-2020)
Niklas Hjalmarsson, $2.6m (2017-2020)
Casey DeSmith, $0.3m (2016-2018)

I call this the "Trading for the Other Guy's Crap" deal.
Willing to roll the dice on Niemi. He either resurfaces later this year or he signs with a KHL team down the line. I want to unload my $9 million dollars worth of crap contracts.
