Habs-Cats Deal

[PigsRule]

Cats trade
Jared Spurgeon, $3.0m (2016-2019)

Habs trade
C - Joey Hishon (2010: 1/17 - 13 Games)
Round 3 - 2017  (from :MON-NHL:; originally :STL-NHL:)

We are making a strategic trade to gain something in return for a potential player we could lose in the Exp.Draft. Habs to confirm.

:iatp: The Canadiens Hockey Club agree to this trade. We are upgrading team resources. Easy deal. Thanks Florida. :toast:

:iatp: Isn't Hishon playing in Europe these days. Once upon a time he was going to be a somebody.

Clearly a good trade for Montreal. Perhaps a trade made out of necessity as a result of the Expansion draft.
