Reds send a tout to the trop

[Dan Wood]

Rays get
C Lavarnway, Ryan, $0.5m (P-n/a)

Reds get
SP Britton, Zach, $2m (2014)
X-P Britton, Zach, Cash Exchanged on Contract (2011), $-2m in 2011
CI Morel, Brent, $0.5m (P-n/a)
and
Hats for bats

This is just a precursor to another move, plus the Reds front office loves Britton...shoulda never traded him...Mike please confirm

Rays confirm...very happy to make this happen.  We have addressed our CI and C situation for the now and future.  No matter what happens with either Posey or Lavarnway position wise, I'm banking they have the bat to stick.  Great work Dan, now go and win the whole....effing....thing....in 2012 (sorry for the dig, couldn't resist)  :toast:
