Lawrie is the best player in this deal and could become a monster, and I usually try to be on the other end of such a trade.  However, with Pujols / Youk / Hosmer locked up at CI and some depth there in the minors, it's in my best interests to try and improve my weaker positions like MI and C.  While this one might come back to haunt me, I'm a big fan of Sanchez and more importantly Machado.

Ryan Braun is now the only remaining holdover from the initial Brewers roster...

Nationals confirm.  Lawrie simply has too high a ceiling at this juncture for me to pass up.  Machado could become the All-Star caliber player some/many project him to be, but I'm attempting to put a 2012 contender together, not a 2013 and beyond contender.  Drew is worth a rental so I can attempt to be relevant this year and maybe pull off a couple upsets this season.
