Cubs-Reds Trad 8/10/15 8:05P Eastern

[jpmanchester]

Reds trade:
SP Cain, Matt, $9.5m (2015)
xReds pay all his 2015 salary
SP Reid-Foley, Sean, $0.5m (P-n/a)
RP Danish, Tyler, $0.5m (P-n/a)

Cubs trade:
SP Fulmer, Carson, $0.5m (P-n/a)
CI Ynoa, Rafael, $0.5m (P-n/a)

Cubs accept. I'll probably regret giving up Fulmer, but bringing in Cain to help push for the playoffs. Long term, hopefully one of these other pitchers will have an impact at MLB level eventually as well. Thanks for the smooth negotiations. Reds to confirm when they can.

Reds confirm. Fulmer is going to be a future ace imo and I don't think I have that much to lose. Thanks Cubs for the talks.

Put SP Fulmer, Carson, $0.5m (P-n/a) to Minors

Drop CI Ynoa, Rafael, $0.5m (P-n/a)
