Trade (LAA - ATL)

[Snygg]

:LAA: trade
C.C Sabathia $23 $23
(with $23M provided both 2014 and 2015, full salary)
Cowart (minor)

:ATL: trade
Bethancourt (minor)
La Stella (minor)

I give up two great prospects for one + some steady pitching in Sabathia for the two upcoming seasons (no salary). A reasonable trade on both parts.

Angels confirm

Losing Sabathia will hurt my chances to compete for a playoff spot the next 2 years and I do believe the chances are good that Cowart reestablishes himself as a top prospect after a subpar year last year.

However, I love La Stella and have coveted him for a while. Bethancourt helps solidify catching depth for the future after I traded away Austin Hedges earlier in the offseason.

Thanks to the Braves for good negotiations.  :toast:

When will it be processed on FanTrax? Is that something we need to do on our own?

Trades need to be posted for 48 hours before they become official. After that time period, I will handle Fantrax.

I reluctantly approve.
