Another Free Agent Option Question

In our rules it states:

"You may not bid on a player that you have released for a period of 30 days.  If you resign a player, their original contract is restored."

Does this apply to players whose contracts have been bought out and whose remaing monies are less than the 75/50/25 percentages?

Two examples are Albert Pujols and Tim Lincecum.  If either are re-signed by their original GMs, do we have to reinstate their original $27m and $23m contracts?

This is correct. Any player who is released (With cap hits or cap hits + Buyout) would get their original contracts back.
