Toronto trade: Henderson Alvarez

in exchange for

Drew Pomeranz and Giovanni Soto

                    I really like this deal. I consider the 2 major league pitchers very even. Maybe Henderson a little better based on performance, and isn't that what it's all about. But after weakening my farm system in the past few weeks adding Teheran and Castro{by the way Nick, have I told you lately I have Castro}. I am really excited to add Soto to my organization. I have followed this kid since 2010 when he led the Midwest League in shutouts (two), was tied for first in complete games (two) and ranked fourth in ERA (2.93). He had elbow issues in 2011, so like most youngsters he comes with risk. But I really like this kid and expect him to have a chance to make a very solid showing of himself in the years to come.
