Well you apparently do since you aren't aware of how the veto process works. There isn't anything in the rules about not being able to appeal to the remaining trade committee members. I respect alpha's veto, that doesn't mean I can't make my case for why the trade was made.

We all have the right to defent our trade if someone vetoes it. Not sure what the problem is with further explaining the details.

I will also say my piece here and veto this trade. These type of trades that ruin the integrity of the league in my honest opinion.

KC is sending higher picks and i feel like the picks going back to him also don't equate the same value. Getting picks in the beginning few rds should garner more value than late rds picks.

I appreciate the feedback and all. I'm trying to figure out what the "value" is for eating $25M worth of salary. It seems to me that the more established teams aren't valuing that at the same rate as the rookie teams are. I've had deals vetoed now for not getting enough for the money I am eating and now I'm getting vetoed for getting too much in return. Not gonna lie, it's getting very annoying trying to figure out what valuations to put on eating cap. To me it's one way a rebuilding team can offer value to restock quicker by gaining assets with their main source of value compared to veteran teams. If we can't eat cap without getting vetoed all the time then that's just another way that veteran teams can stay on top and push rebuilding teams down and that doesn't sit well with me.

I think it's an odd trade, I don't think I would do it, but I'm not sure it's veto worthy. I think trade vetoed the other day was a good example, this one might be a little over the line. The committee is supposed to protect the league, not necessarily vetoing trades they think are "bad." Teams should still be free to make odd or bad trades.

I'm stepping in also this isn't a veto trade. Veto means the trade is so one sided that it's not funny. If u guys our going to veto trades like this by using this as veto. Then there might as well not makes any more because any trade u make will get veto down.

  • Braves155: My issue in LIVE currently is having Strider/Alcantara/Giolito all on the long shelf, so I am more retooling than rebuilding

  • Daddy: Also agreed. Top quality pitching probably means not much depth. A few injuries can challenge you. Pitching other than top end pitching has been devalued in fantasy. Everyone wants the stud.

  • Daddy: I here to tell you that ALL major league pitching is good pitching. A great hitter beats a terrible pitcher just 3 out of 10 times. Which means the worst pitchers > the greatest hitters.

  • Brent: Greg Maddux had the best outlook.  He viewed himself as tye dealer/house and you had to beat him.  Just like in the casino, the house nearly always wins.

  • Daddy: Yes @Brent!! That is it exactly. Pitching is the house & it always wins in the end.

  • Braves155: The problem with the minors is not the system as a whole, it is some Farm Systems are more 'elite' at being able to produce talent than others. If you look across MLB teams you can pretty easily tell the great systems from the weaker systems and talent development

  • Braves155: With regard to pitching in the Minors...there is  method to the madness. It is all about what you make of it tho. I agree that it can seem certain type arms in the minors are a dime a dozen

  • Daddy: Mr Braves you are my guy. There isnt anything wrong with minor league studs or flops. I get it in REAL baseball.

  • Daddy: This is fantasy baseball. We dont generate revenue selling prospects and merchandising. Our top farms dont get a write up in Sports Illustrated.
