Angels confirm. Crawford fills a need at LF and at essentially 2.5M per year the contract shouldn't be too horrible even if injuries and age makes it dead money in a few years. The Markakis negotiations were getting increasingly pricey ( nicole!!!!) so this allows the Angels to not have to take on another high priced FA.
