It mimmicks real life in that any team whose leadership jumps leaves mid-stream should be expected to struggle in the interim. This is not nearly as bad for the league as say 3-5 owners swapping clubs overnight on a whim...
there is no negative impact at all. The ability to set their lineups is still there. So the only thing that those teams cannot do is trade in sign free agents. So there is no negative impact. Roy is doing the right thing without a doubt for the future of the league
All league openings are on hold until the RC establishes rules regarding this critical issue. I ask patience from everyone that has requested an open team. Resolving this matter will make the league stronger in the future and prevent the discord we are currently facing.
Roy is doing the right thing by ensuring we have an appropriate rule in place for handling GM replacement.
You're hurting this league man. Putting this on hold screws up competitiveness. The Dodgers and the Nationals are now both being put through the works. They're not allowed to set up rosters because the hiring process is being artificially delayed. Furthermore, I don't know what to do, do I keep working on the Padres or do I leave it as is for the next person. The way this is being handled is getting crazy.
