Cubs agree to deal. While Brantley is talented, the picks and international money assist my rebuild. Gregorio is a good arm who fits in well for me. Hembree instantly improves my bullpen. Mallex has raw talent and will help contribute in CF. Wernes has some ability, but Cubs previous owner burned service time. The arms are fringe MLB talent that do not help me long term. Giants agree this a no brained for the giants I add a player I have wanted on my team for a long time. I made this trade was mainly for Brantley. He makes my of  a lot better. The specs I'm holding that one or 2 of them pan out.

I'm OK with it. All I'm saying there was no collusion in this trade. He claimed him and offered him in a trade. We never talked before he made the claim. I put a claim on him and so did some other owners. He didn't get a hold of me until after he won him. If u guy see it being in fair I'll go what ever everyone agrees on I'm just sticking up for both owners neither one of us talked before the claim. Matter of fact I was at work when he won him and didn't realise it until I saw what happen with the cubs winning him. Please don't start giving owners attitudes over making a trade all the cubs wanted to do is move him to add more talent to his team that's all. I'm from Cleveland and I'm a big Brantley fan. Originally I was going to ask about teaseing for him from previous owner but I didn't want to move my young talented guys in Taylor and so on.
