Hoskins got hurt in ST and I've been without a 1B all year, and I have no 1B on the farm, it's been difficult. Obviously bringing in Freeman is huge, but he comes with a huge cap hit, between him, Arenado, and Castellanos taking up almost 60M I'm hoping the farm can produce to fill the gaps.

Hopefully Anderson isn't actually done for the year. Melendez became expendable when Bailey threw himself in the ROY conversation and displaced Bart as the franchise catcher. I really like Festa but pitching isn't a huge need at the moment.

Marlins confirm.  Freeman was a nice FA add, but I have no pitching.  Festa gives me a guy and lets me start to just develop SPs on the farm to match my bats I have hitting the show.  Hoskins replaces Freeman for next season.
