76ers & Golden State (revised)
« on: November 02, 2020, 05:59:59 PM »
76ers trade (the blessed bounty of):
1st rd pick 2020
2nd rd pick 2020
2nd rd pick 2021
2nd rd pick 2022
F Furkan Korkmaz $1.8m

Warriors trade:
PG Stephen Curry $30m (2022) *paid 2021

Now.....seeing as how I agreed to send only my first round pick which I HAD TO BE TALKED INTO by jojo a man you all know and respect.

I think given what Clay is SIMULTANEOUSLY being traded for...that my offer is more...very much more than generous for the novice and baby GM that is jojowalkwalk. The poor bastard I'm raping taking on Stephs $30m contract in a year (2022) I'm not sure he will even play.

If you mad you didn't get him...thats on you. Holla at me because I'm not in love with Steph and will move him.

Send me offers.

Thank you all
JoJo  to confirm.

Sorry but still :veto:

Reasoning stands from previous interations, as this deal still doesn't set a good precent.

Curry with more money paid should fetch more than Thompson (not same or even less depending on how you look at it).

If deal passes by others that's ok, but I just cant justify approving on my end.

Yeah I'm gonna agree to disagree. We go back a long time on profsl so I'm very surprised at you of all people taking this stance. Considering the trade you have on the board, in my view it's very hypocritical.

We are talking about the standard of vetoing. Just because you think my deal is less or greater than yours doesn't matter.

Every trade in this league has passed and yet as usual mine in so egregious that it sets the standard for a veto even when you just made a "very similar" trade.

Because in your mind Curry > Clay
Or
PG Nigel Williams-Goss  $1.7m (2022)
SG Miye Oni  $1.7m (2022) > Korkmaz
http://www.profsl.com/smf/index.php?topic=373301.msg1452444#new

Doesn't mean you get to defend your trade veto mine and tell me that's fair. Based on what standard? Klay Thompson is a HOF so is Steph. How you gonna make virtually the same deal and say mine is vetoable?

I'm not sure of the veto rules in this league yet but to me this is pretty foul. That other fool isn't even on the trade committee and proved himself to be a liar in the chat.

I'm sick of this double standard that only seems to apply to me.

It is a joke. :toast:

Okay clown. Call me a liar lmao. Make a trade that’s halfway decent if you want it to be approved. And btw it’s KLAY. Not sure if you’re dyslexic or what’s going on there. For you to say Klay and Steph are similar in value is asinine. And by the way I’m still laughing at the “as usual mine is the only vetoable trade” so you make terrible, vetoable trades often then huh? I’m still not convinced that you aren’t just running both of these accounts and stacking one team. Earlier in the chat saying “we’ll take the trade” why would you say it like that? Do you answer for the Warriors or do you know he’ll accept because you’re running the team like you run your mouth? I tried to keep it civil and explain in the chat why I vetoed but you couldn’t accept it and had to call me names because you didn’t get your way.

If you think a pick in the late 20’s in a weak draft and 3 picks in the 50’s plus a d-leaguer are worth Steph fully paid then you’re just stupid. No way around it.

Going to have to veto this too - I have no horse in the race and the Warriors being weaker is better overall for my team but a first and three seconds is nothing for Steph when Derek Rose is going for two firsts

The deal itself is not great, but the two GM's are solid and have been on this site for a long time
