accepts this trade as a win now blockbuster deal. Flaherty gives me the young ace that my solid rotation needs to take the next step forward. Roe gives me a nice bullpen piece at no cost and no longterm obligation, until Hicks is back and some of my young bullpen arms are ready and McMahon will replace some of Semien’s production while being under contract beyond this coming season. While this one took a good amount of work and time, I think both teams accomplished what they needed to.  Thanks and good luck to

Mariners accept.

This is going to be a big rebuild.  I trade away 2 good young players for a whole bunch of top prospects.  Gorman and chisholm are the centerpieces, but Siani, Duplantier Hilliard and Oviedo all show great promise and will be exciting parts of my team.  Semien was too much to turn down.  a top 5 SS from last year on 6m for this year will be a nice addition to my team and possibly trade piece later on.  Thanks to the yankees, and the other teams that made this decision very difficult.
