The 10% discount for previous owners in FA bidding is already a large benefit for owners as well (forgot to stress this). I'm worried managers would only use the tag in situations where they could get even more than 10% off open market value, and those contracts are the ones I'm very worried about since they will be significantly cheaper than the player's real value

Good point on discount. 10% is not big number, but defintily on a double digit contract can be decent saving. I think this rule is good as is.

One nice thing with our leagur overall is we really don't need a rule change. Good active GMS and stable rules keeps us competive. Plenty of teams can win it this year.

Regarding this particular rule on 2nd tag, will let this sit for a bit and see if there is more feedback before deciding.
