New York Knicks are willing to move the following as we adjust from a rebuilding team to one that can be competitive. The following are available for any future draft pick or a 2nd round draft pick from this year that can be free dropped.

1) Wenyen Gabriel, PF, New Orleans, G-League Eligible $0.8M (2022), only 18 total games played
2) Dennis Smith Jr. $5.7M (2021) RFA
3) Frank Ntilikina $6.2M (2021) RFA

These are great guys for a rebuild. Wenyen and Dennis are 23 years old and Frank is 22 years old. Need the space for veteran free agents as I believe I can be competitive this year.

Not sure if they'll move or not, but looking a bit into the future, I may need to diversify a bit, so I'm going to throw a few names on the block and see what may come of it.

Duncan Robinson 1.7
Bam Adebayo 5.1
Jimmy Butler 30
Kendrick Nunn 1.7
Furkan Korkmaz 1.8

:DET-NBA: Looking to combine the below for as many 1sts as possible, I will pay them in full to help any deal. Im of the belief that 2nds are worthless so don’t come at me with that.

PG Landry Shamet $3m 2022 RFA His role in Brooklyn should be very similar to his role last year in LA. Expect numbers to be similar.
PG/SG Luke Kennard $5.3m RFA
SG/SF Bruce Brown $1.7m RFA
C Aron Baynes $1.6m 2023 Looks like the starter in Toronto

Got 1 spot open and only 1.1m in cap with not much I can afford in FA that I like, so listening to offers on :UT2:  2023 1st (also still have 2nd)

Would like 1 player to finalize my team and need any difference in salary paid this year but can eat up future money.

Willing to move the following for a 2nd round pick (willing to send both or just one for one pick):
1) Isaiah Hartenstein $0.8M (2022)
2) Wenyen Gabriel $0.8M (2022)

Willing to move the following for a 1st round pick (willing to package 2 or more depending on team offering pick):
1) Robert Williams $2.9M (2022) RFA
2) Kevin Knox $5.2M (2022) RFA
3) Nickeil Alexander-Walker $3.8M (2023) RFA

Willing to move the following for any draft pick, G-League eligible player, or player making $1.0M or less per year to clear a roster spot for a guard:
1) Juancho Hernangomez $3.4M (2023) - He can certainly turn things around and the T-Wolves invested too much money in him for them to not give him every chance to turn things around, but 75% of my team plays forward (Caris Levert, Jarrett Allen, Christian Wood, Miles Bridges, Kevin Huerter, etc.) so he won't get into my starting lineup anyway.
2) Marquese Chriss $1.7M (2023) - Out for the year. Will be back and healthy for next year and I can keep him on the IR for the whole year, but would prefer to have the open IR spot at this point if I need it later in the year.

Also willing to move any of the 7 players above plus Miles Bridges for another guard, preferably PG, but also looking at an additional SG. As always, everyone is available in trades for the right return.

  • dbreer23: Take two to tango, though. Most owners with adequate or surplus SP aren't interested in prospects as they're trying to win now.

  • Braves155: My issue in LIVE currently is having Strider/Alcantara/Giolito all on the long shelf, so I am more retooling than rebuilding
    May 05, 2024, 02:46:48 PM
  • Daddy: Also agreed. Top quality pitching probably means not much depth. A few injuries can challenge you. Pitching other than top end pitching has been devalued in fantasy. Everyone wants the stud.

  • Daddy: I here to tell you that ALL major league pitching is good pitching. A great hitter beats a terrible pitcher just 3 out of 10 times. Which means the worst pitchers > the greatest hitters.

  • Brent: He had that view b/c of his father who was a blackjack dealer in Vegas.
    May 05, 2024, 04:35:28 PM
  • Daddy: Yes @Brent!! That is it exactly. Pitching is the house & it always wins in the end.

  • Braves155: The problem with the minors is not the system as a whole, it is some Farm Systems are more 'elite' at being able to produce talent than others. If you look across MLB teams you can pretty easily tell the great systems from the weaker systems and talent development

  • Braves155: With regard to pitching in the Minors...there is  method to the madness. It is all about what you make of it tho. I agree that it can seem certain type arms in the minors are a dime a dozen
