1B Anthony Rizzo 33m 2024 (5m previously paid)
2B Eduoard Julien
2023 1st (pick 24)

Reds Trade:

P Chris Sale 18m 2026 (:CIN: will pay 9m this year in addition to existing $)
SS Nicky Lopez ARB
P JoJo Romero 700k ARB


Dont love moving Julien but planning to resign my 2B FAs and getting 3 pieces that can hlep along with needed cap savings. Sale always gamble with health but like him to potentially have big year with Braves.

Reds confirm this trade. Rizzo can help provide a veteran presence in my young locker room and I was willing to eat the cap space to get Julien and another 1st to restock for the future. Have high hopes for Julien and look to build around him for the next few years.

  • Braves155: Been starting to get into these older games that originally ran off DOSBOX for those who know what I'm talking about. The idea is you build your team with a salary of XXX and then every 2-3 seasons you have decisions to make. Field a 26 man roster, control your own pitching rotation, pen, lineup & bench like the true MLB. Draft every season where there's a lot of turnover. Interesting for sure.
